AN91184 shows how to design a Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) application based on PSoC 4 BLE, using standard profiles defined by the Bluetooth SIG that are included in the BLE Component in PSoC Creator. It demonstrates how to build an application with the BLE Health Thermometer Profile on the CY8CKIT-042-BLE kit. This application note also applies to the PRoC BLE part.
Introduction
The Bluetooth SIG defines a set of profiles and services for various different applications, such as Heart Rate Monitor, Health Thermometer, Blood Pressure measurement, Immediate Alert Service, etc. These profiles and services which are defined by the Bluetooth SIG are termed as Standard Profiles and Standard Services, respectively.
