Introduction
Accurate measurement of physical quantities is important for many applications. In most measurement systems, we use a transducer to convert a physical quantity to a voltage. This voltage is sent through signal conditioning circuitry, if necessary, and then to an analog to digital convertor (ADC).
PSoC® 3 and PSoC 5LP integrate the signal conditioning circuitry, ADC, microcontroller, and other peripherals (such as I2C, Segment LCD, PWM, etc) into a single chip. You can easily create high-precision analog systems using the integrated, highly configurable, 20-bit Delta-Sigma ADC.
